The fourth-generation GP PLUS suit, compatible with TECH-AIR® airbag systems, represents an evolution of the previous version and offers a redesigned cut based on a flexible cowhide leather lining, Alpinestars Composite Stretch A-CS® stretch panels, MATRYX® composite fabric, HRSF aramid fibre stretch panels and GP DFS external sliding protectors. The GP PLUS 4 is the ideal choice for riders seeking an upper-mid-range suit featuring the latest innovations tailored to the needs of sport and track riding.

The GP PLUS 4 utilises special FLEX PLUS race leather, which is processed into its final shape by a supplier in Italy. This exceptionally flexible cowhide moulds perfectly to the body, and the stretch of the FLEX PLUS race leather has been increased by 6%. Compared to standard cowhide, the difference is 80%. The material used ensures high comfort, freedom of movement and a precise fit to the body. In terms of abrasion resistance, FLEX PLUS race leather guarantees the same properties as standard cowhide, whilst being 10% lighter.

Construction:

• The outer shell, made from lightweight and flexible FLEX PLUS race leather from an Italian supplier, helps reduce the suit’s weight, provides greater flexibility and offers the same abrasion resistance as standard cowhide.
• New Alpinestars Composite Stretch (A-CS®Tech) flexible panel technology, with panels positioned around the torso.
• Leather stretch panels around the hips, shoulder blades, forearms and above the knees.
• HRSF composite fabric stretch panels on the inner sleeves, underarms and crotch, providing comfort and additional protection against abrasion and tearing.
• Breathable, stretchy, lightweight and abrasion-resistant surfaces incorporating MATRYX® composite fabric on the lower legs.
• Strategically placed perforated areas on the front of the suit ensure better breathability and ventilation.

Safety features:

• Internal, removable, certified GP-R Class 1 elbow, knee, tailbone and shin protectors included.
• Internal, removable, certified NUCLEON RACE Class 1 shoulder protectors are included.
• External GP DFS Dynamic Friction Shield plastic protectors, made from a two-component plastic, positioned at the shoulders, elbows and knees, combined with foam padding, provide better impact force transfer and shock absorption.
• Internal, removable Class 1 BIO-FLEX protectors in the hip area are included in the set.
• The suit is compatible and specially designed for use with TECH-AIR®10 airbag systems. It can also be used with the TECH-AIR®5 system and other airbag systems compatible with TECH-AIR®Ready.
• The set includes removable and adjustable knee sliders.
• Replaceable elbow slider components.
• Chest and spine inserts are available as optional extras.
• Reinforcements in the forearm and knee flexion areas using panels with composite seams.
